Methuselah is said to be the oldest living person since man's creation who lived during the Antediluvian Age. The Antediluvian Age was the period of mankind’s decent after The Fall. Methuselah was said to be the son of Enoch and the grandfather of Noah. There is very little mention of this patriarchal figure in Biblical text, what is said is that his lifespan reached 969 years and a simple statement stating, “and he died”.
